KORG Gadget 3 App Reviews

I love gadget, I have been using it since it came out on the iPad originally. Its evolution has been great. Love the sound and the export to Ableton Live function. I just wish it could also export the midi tracks to Ableton live. I would love to double some of my tracks with my hardware synths more easily.

Top quality sounds, easy to use, reliable and with the iM1 module add on is just fantastic. Highly recommended.

Ive been using Gadget for about a year now and its still one of my top choices for making music on iPad. Its very easy to use, the sounds are high quality for the most part, and they do give really big updates every now and then. This is an amazingly versatile musical instrument kit, I especially like the ability to create multiple layers of moving, stereo sounds. The add on sampling synth, Bilbao works well with my all time favorite app, Thumbjam

Korg Gadget is Neato Burrito!

At first I had some issues but after a hard reset, everything is working well now. Im using an iPhone 6s Plus and of course I feel its a bit small however it is a great way to write on the go.

Amazing value and sound quality! Innovative instruments and workflow! Worth your time and money.

I wish there was an option to chose which chords to play. 1-3-5.... 1-4-7... Also, the Arpeggiator section... Can there be a simple up...up/down... Down.... ***My phone has the option for 3D Touch, can there be something that allows me to toggle between Arpeggiator types Please & Gracias!!!!!! Other than that, this app is killer. Sounds beautiful when exported & played with in my DAW. Thank you Korg. I hope my input is received by the Devs! Bless! (ios9/iphone6s+/Reaper)

This is a fantastic app. It is obvious that a lot of work went into its development, and it really shows. it is very user-friendly and has an awesome audio output quality level, as well as a great connection to Ableton Live. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking into electronic music, Ableton Live, or music with synthesizers. Worth every penny!

Every sound Ive found in this is such high quality that Its truly hard to find reasons (other than vocals) to sit back down at the desk in my studio. Logic, Pro Tools, Ableton...not for inspiring you to write music. This app, made to inspire you to write music easily and with a consistent batch of great quality sounds. This is my new go to for writing tunes. One thing it needs is more plugin capabilities! I LOVE what it comes with, but we need more add on instruments. Need. Please make this possible soon or you will fall behind the curve Korg. Great app so far.

Gadget is an incredibly powerful, feature rich music production & mobile DAW for IOS. It only took a few sessions until I became familiar with the workflow and interface of Gadget. After which my tracks really started to really take off. If you own Korg Module & Korg iM1, you will have 6 additional instruments in Gadget to choose from. Which is a huge plus but certainly not a requirement to make brilliant tracks. Gadget is really fun and addictive, the sound quality is superb. Overall I would have to say that Gadget was worth every penny I spent on it, and is unequivocally my favorite Music Production app. on iOS.

I dont even have time for social media anymore

I give this a 3 star because the lack of gadgets. Thats the selling point for this app.Would love to see a real, a real Korg triton series app and gadget app a for real module, no preset to emulate one. Love to see all the Korg apps in gadget module. Basically what this app needs to stay alive is import audio function, turn midi tracks into audio in a track line. A more super advance midi learn on midi controllers. Rec in function to add vocal etc. A real performance live mode and a clip launching app. Hint, look at launchpad iOS app by novation. If Korg can come up with something like that and improve on the ideal and add on whats their lacking. A big success is about to happen. Will change ratings when real progress happens.

So you go to export wave and they ask for $40. Then you pay it, but still cant export! "Thank you for contacting us. We apologize for the inconvenience. Currently, There is no way to export the data to the Gadget from Gadget Le. We will consider to be able to export project about this issue. KORG app dev team"

Gadget nearly single-handedly transformed me from a music fan to a successful musician. I am not a proficient instrumentalist but Gadget has enabled me to translate the tunes in my head into vibrant quality songs. Now with three published albums on iTunes, I can produce polished professional-sounding tracks from scratch in a few hours. No other technology Ive ever worked with is so intuitive, versatile and rich!

Korg Gadget really is a fine app, one of the best ever made (so far). It integrates perfectly with Korg Module, which I already had, so that offers even more to the sound pallet. Gadget is easy to use, nice to look at and the sounds are superb. Review Update: another KORG app, iM1 (purchased separately), is also available within Gadget making the available sound pallet quite expansive.

Korg nailed it with this app. A truly inspiring app to use on so many levels. I know some may balk at the price once all is said and done, but for the money and what you get you wont regret it. Its the perfect app for a beginner or a pro. The only limit this app has is your imagination.
