Gadgetorium Excellentum

The Korg Gadget is a great tool for making traxx! I love the sounds, and the facility of this thing. Thanks Korg!

Loses a star for pulling a cash cow move...

Still beautiful, but starting to reek of corporate complacency…A 10 buck Sampler that has no mic input is beyond arrogant, but the device looks pretty enough…I think it went to their heads, and I think the fact that they misled original buyers into thinking future gadgets would be a bonus has been…betrayed. I cannot stop the fawning. I loved it when it came out, but the honeymoon ended for a lot more people than Korg would like yesterday when they plugged in the cash cow machine...

Really cool

Really a nice playing apps but 9.99$ for one gadget in-app purchased that´s too much ! .99 $ is a good price too !!!

Bilbao & Abu Dhabi

Version 1.3 is a real game changer. Thanks Korg! Best music app available. The new gadgets are tight.

HELP HELP HELP

I just downloaded the full app and i bought also in-app-purchase Bilbao and I cant load it. Screen freezes and nothing happen. Any help please...

Woah not cool!

Had to quickly retract my previous positive review once I saw the update... When I purchased this product I was thinking I would not be paying extra for ongoing updates and gadgets. 20 bucks extra to enjoy all the features of the new update is out of line in my opinion.

Really good

This is one of the best music making apps for iOS. Its worth the entry price, though I think theyre asking too much for the newer add-ons.

IAA Support and Audio Tracks

If the developers only add full IAA support and AudioTracks I would stop using other iOS DAW. Thats how much I love this App.its well made, the sounds are superb

Greatest

The greatest thing to happen to my iPads!

Awesome

I love this app its so awesome you can do everything with it and with the add-ons and all the functions and everything its awesome I love it. Korg rocks!

Music making at its finest

This app absolutely rules. I had tried other apps like Cubasis and Nanostudio, and I like them. But the immediacy and excitement that Gadget brings is in a different class. This is what touch and music are all about. Being able to export to Ableton Live is just the icing on an excellent cake. I will give five stars when it takes the next leap and is able to import wave and mid files, for true music making and arrangement/production capability. Right now this is the ultimate sketch tool.

Great app but buggy as hell

I have an ipad air 2 and after only three "gadgets and two tracks it starts skipping and hiccuping. Only work around is "freezing" instruments and it becomes cumbersome quickly. The workflow is a learning curve but incredibly powerful. I just hope korg can fix all the bugs. If you accidentally automate something, clearing automation is a breeze except, the automation doesnt clear... Another bug... Once these issues are fixed this will be crazy killer especially if they can fix the bugs AND add audio recording...wow.. But for now, this app gives me a headache and makes me want to smash sonething...

Love this thing to death!

Gadget is the Sample Tank I always wanted. The sequencer is intuitive, and the song key and chord assist features are a nice bonus. It is a great sketch pad for jotting ideas on the go, but some of the sounds are good enough to translate into the studio with a bit of work. Its not exactly a full on DAW, but for my needs on a bus or at a cafe, it great. In the future, Id love to see other korg apps link into it as Gadgets.. But really, thats knit picking... This thing is great.

Best daw type app on iOS!

Im in love with this app. So many possibilities and the ableton export option is superb! When working in a gadget, I would like to see the option to double patterns with one button as oppose to copying patterns one by one. It would also be cool if we could name scenes/clips as well. Not a deal breaker cause korg has out done themselves here! Cheers

Fantabulous

Pro-posterously good. Once upon a time this combination of features and quality was very costly. Worth double its cost. Easy.

Another forced useless sequencer

Every one of these apps wants you to make the music inside of itself like that is a good idea which it is not. This app gives you the option to have the sequencer take up half or all of the screen, and the stuff you want to use, the instruments, they either get to take up half or none of the screen, who came up with that idea i dont know but it makes a great app almost useless unless you have a midi keyboard and even then.... I dont know i hope they fix this instead of making yet another app to pay for, this is kinda sad and disrespectful because they keep forcing useless sequencers in our faces and preventing their own apps from working as good as they could. Make the app for musicians and not noob please. Full screen gadgets you disrespectful fools, it is so obvious. I just linked the m1 and it is nonsense. Korgs apps are always the most promising and the most difficult to use it is so sad because all the problems are obvious conscious decisions by the developer for some reason if it was a contract and korg had the final say and that is why things are as messed as they are then i dont know what else to say but this is a fail all over the place

Great functionality

Portable, powerful and say to use.

Gadget: One of the best

I have to say Gadget is hands down one of the best iPad music apps imo. The ease of song creation is almost unparalleled, however a few other apps are close. For just generating ideas, to using it as a MIDI controlled sound engine, to creating fully produced beats w/ automated parameters, Gadget does it all. I run gadget on an iPad Mini Gen 1, and I can still run up to 5 tracks in-frozen w/ fully automated parameters/fx and have no trouble. If you are even considering getting KORG Gadget, do yourself a favour and take the plunge.

Mr.

Tons of cool stuff in here and years of ideas. Easy to use and something constantly new to discover

Fun, and intuitive

So great and easy to create tracks. Great for a beginner, and tons of depth for the pro.
